SUTTON VILLAGE LOVE THE COMPLEX VERY QUITE. BUT THE ASSOCIATION IS HORRIBLE! I'VE LIVED HERE FOR 5 YEARS AND IT HAS CHANGED SEVERAL TIMES. PLUS THEY CLAIM TO BE FIXING THE ROOFS AND WE PAID THEM $1000 LAST YEAR AND NEVER GOT THE WORK DONE. NOW THEY SAID IT IS ONLY $600, WE GOT NO REFUND AND THEY ARE VERY HARD TO CONTACT!
Management Company is very good and
professional. Self run for over Twenty Years
then one poor group Latest Management is
stable 3 years or so. Boards change from
time to time and are subject to fralities.
Most complaints are from owners that are new
to HOA's. This community is top shelf. |
 "association problems" We had roof issues. In the last 2 years we were assessed to cover the full replacement and repairs of roofs for 240 units. Work is still being done and it looks great. When you live in a "community" everyone pays for everyone else. No complaints about new board or new management co. Everyone is working together. 5 year resident.
Have
lived in SV for 11 years. It was great when
I first moved in but has gone downhill
since. Management co. sucks!!! You can't
reach anyone, not sure how funds are being
allocated, fees just go higher and higher
and nothing seems to improve. Assessments
keep adding up. The woman that runs the
office is rude and not very helpful. It is
a shame!! |

used to be nice wood fences around the
recycle and trash dumpster areas but the one
around the dumpsters was accidentally
knocked down a year ago by the trash
removal company and not replaced. Around
the same time the condo company
contracted for a smaller set up dumpsters,
so now by the pick-up date they are
overflowing with trash, available for all
the world to see since they are no
longer enclosed. Not so great when your
unit faces the dumpsters." |

are holes in the entry ways that are
dangerous for pedestrian traffic. The
balconies are unsafe structurally and have
been left unrepaired for 2+ years. The hot
tub has been broken since last summer and is
said not to be fixed this summer either. The
condo fees have increased $75 monthly in the
last two years but no major repairs have

It's a beautiful and quite
peaceful development. The only things are that the fee is too high,
in my opinion (we dont even have a sprinkler system) at 225 a
month. Also, they tend to not be very good at communicating things
to the homeowners. What is really great (and rare) is that you can
get a condo with a full basement which you wont find with new
units/developments |

kept and conveniently located off shopping
areas and GSP. |
This
complex is the worst. You have people who
purchase townhomes for good money just to
live right next door to renters. There are
too many units that are being rented in
here. It's not fair that someone pays good
money to live here with the association dues
and taxes just to have someone who doesn't
have to pay any of that living right next
door. |

THE WINDMILL CLUB
Landscaping has been going downhill for a
couple of years and many residents seem to
take no pride in their home. Free roaming
cats are a problem.
My
wife and I were looking to buy as this is a
nice complex but had questions about the
operation of the condo association. The
manager was very evasive when asked how fees
were broken down and could not give
explanation for why no office staff is
present on site and why there is no formal
structure to directly contact the board of
trustees. |
Lovely community, closest thing to a private home. Garages, driveways, nice yards with decks, no stinky dumpsters, private 'rural' mailboxes rather than cramped lockboxes, and some units are detached too ....
Great
Community. walk to all shopping, yet
peaceful and quiet. All the units on
circles with garages are great... |
