"As a new condo owner in
Bellefield Residential Park, I am quite happy with my condo and
with everything that is offered in the way of amenities.
However, I have been here six months and have still not received
information from the manager regarding covenants, what I can and
can't do as a condo owner in the park, general rules about the
exterior of my condo (can I put up an American flag on the
outside of my unit? for example). Just recently, one of my
neighbors came around with a petition regarding the placement of
birdhouses in the trees around one of the condos. I had no idea
there were issues with birdhouses, but apparently there are.) |

Nottingham Commens..."Not what it used to be. This place has went way down due to poor management and assosiation. I have lived here almost 20 years. It used to have such great management and the neighbors were all great. Now there are a bunch of new people who are snooty and complain on every little thing. I got fined $50 for putting a broken down box "outside" of the recycling bin. Well I was trying no to hog all the room in the bin for smaller items. So I stopped recycling. Sorry planet. My small dog never poos on property and doesnt bark yet one of the busy body neighbors threatened to call animal control because my dog was on the balcony for less than 2 minutes in cold weather. Might I ad while I was getting something out of the storage shed. Yet no one does anything about the dog that it let out on the padio everymorning between 5 and 6am and barks non stop. Than the assosiation memebers are deceptive and try to control everything. Receintly everyone was charge nearly $1,000 and told that the condos were going to be painted on the outside. Well naturally we all thought the same color. Well the 4 assosiation leaders decided to completely change the color from darker brown to almost pure white without informing anyone or even giving anything other condo owners an option to vote or have an opinion. We all found out one day when painting started and we were horrified to see this cheep paint color that looks awful on old wood and against brick. Tons of owners complained to the association and property management but they said too bad they wernt going to change the paint choice and than stopped answering phone calls and emails. This deciept and lack of management has caused on the street fights. This place is awful. We feel like powerless owners at the place with no privacy and like everyone is in our business. They even cut down the main tree behind out balcony without consulting us. It was the only thing that gave privacy between our unit and the one across from us. Now we can see right into their home and they can see into ours," |
